There is a lot of Community Spirit and Pride in The Meadows. The Pride in the Meadows project originally started in 2001-2002; to counter negative publicity.  Many of the Community Events are organised under the umbrella of Pride in The Meadows, such as:

• The Meadows History Project
• Bridgeway Christmas Event
