The Meadows Partnership Trust is a local regeneration organisation that has a track record of bringing people and organisations together to improve the delivery of services for Meadows residents.
In January 1998 the Meadows Partnership Trust established an office base at the Meadows One Stop Shop in the Bridgeway Shopping Centre. The Meadows Partnership Trust offers a range of services to local people: support and information for those seeking training, employment or volunteering opportunities; support and advice to local community and voluntary groups in the area; a source of information for local people and a representative voice of the views of the local community. We also aim to develop more activity around supporting the local community and groups to become more involved in local issues and the delivery of services, from increasing volunteering opportunities to assisting groups to provide a better service to residents.
The Meadows Partnership Trust Board of Directors is elected from local residents, local businesses and local community and voluntary groups and meets on a monthly basis.
The Meadows Partnership Trust is an umbrella organisation acting as a partnership for local groups supporting and developing public, private and voluntary activity. The main aim of the Meadows Partnership Trust is to develop community cohesion, to encourage people living in the area to work together to improve the quality of life for all local residents.
The Meadows Partnership Trust provides a voice for local people to identify services that will improve the social and economic regeneration of the Meadows. It also works to secure funding for facilities and resources in the area with specific emphasis on the needs of those experiencing disadvantage.
The Meadows Partnership Trust is a Registered Charity.
The Meadows Partnership Trust is the Lead Organisation for the Nottingham City Council Area Based Funding, Area 8, which covers Meadows and Clifton. This funding is for Youth Activity Provision, Employment Support and Community Centre Support.
